We are thrilled to announce the return of our beloved Christmas with Wildlife event! After such a wonderful experience last year, we can’t wait to welcome everyone back to share in the holiday magic with us.
Join us for a cozy, walk-through adventure featuring live animal presentations, sweet treats, dazzling Christmas light displays, and, of course, our incredible animal ambassadors!
This heartwarming event not only brings holiday joy to families but also directly supports our wildlife hospital. It’s the perfect tradition to kick off the season, so gather your family and come celebrate with us!
Christmas with Wildlife
Starting November 15th through December 23rd, Soper Creek Wildlife Rescue invites you to a special Christmas with Wildlife event!
Experience the enchantment of our illuminated forest as some of your favourite displays from the WILD Winter Festival brighten the night. Wander the trails and enjoy up to two hours of festivities, all while supporting Durham Region’s only Wildlife Rehabilitation Hospital.
Time Slots:
- Thursdays & Sundays: 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm
- Fridays & Saturdays: 5:15 pm – 7:15 pm & 7:30 pm – 9:30 pm
- Monday, December 23rd: 5:15 pm – 7:15 pm & 7:30 pm – 9:30 pm
Included in Your Visit:
- Sweet treats (guests are encouraged to bring their own hot drink!)
- A cozy campfire
- A presentation on Soper Creek Wildlife Rescue
- A meet-and-greet with one of our animal ambassadors (bring your camera—photos welcome!)
Tickets: $10 + HST per person (ages 2+). All proceeds go to support Soper Creek Wildlife Rescue. Spots are limited, so book early!
Exclusive Add-On Option!
Enhance your Christmas with Wildlife experience with an exclusive visit with Santa himself!
Available ONLY on December 5th, 12th & 19th, families can add this private visit with Santa to their Christmas with Wildlife reservation for just $20+hst. Enjoy a special one-on-one moment, where you’re welcome to take your own photos with Santa using your phone or camera.
Please Note: To add a visit with Santa, you must first purchase tickets to our Christmas with Wildlife Event. Each family group must reserve a matching number of tickets for both the main event and the Santa visit add-on. (For example, if your family group includes 2 adults and 2 children, you’ll need to purchase 4 tickets to Christmas with Wildlife, along with the Santa visit add-on.)
