What We’re Looking For:

✅ Meets Canada Summer Jobs criteria (ages 15-30)
✅ Negative Vulnerable Sector Check required upon hire
✅ Valid First Aid & CPR Certification
✅ Reliable transportation to and from the wildlife center
✅ Experience working with children (bonus if you have hands-on experience with animals!)
✅ Currently enrolled in high school or post-secondary studies
✅ Ability to work shifts and collaborate in a team setting
✅ Bonus: Currently enrolled in teacher’s college or an education-related program

What We’re Looking For:

What You’ll Be Doing:

🔹 Acting as the primary first aid responder for campers and staff
🔹 Administering medications according to parent/guardian instructions and camp policies
🔹 Monitoring camper health needs, allergies, and medical action plans
🔹 Documenting all treatments, incidents, and communications with families
🔹 Supporting safe participation in outdoor and wildlife-based activities
🔹 Assisting staff in creating a camp environment that is safe, inclusive, and full of adventure

Soper Creek Wildlife Rescue is looking for a Maintenance & Groundskeeping Staff member to join our team for the summer! If you enjoy working outdoors, have a knack for maintaining landscapes, and are eager to contribute to the upkeep of our beautiful wildlife rescue, this is the perfect role for you.

In this full-time seasonal position, you'll be responsible for keeping the grounds at Soper Creek Wildlife Rescue in top condition. This includes maintaining gardens, ensuring pathways are clear, and carrying out general repairs and construction tasks. You’ll also get to work with a variety of power tools and lawn equipment to help keep our facilities looking their best.

🔹 Maintaining the grounds at Soper Creek Wildlife Rescue.
🔹 Following a set schedule to ensure the grounds are always in top condition.
🔹 Tending to gardens and keeping pathways clear and safe for visitors 
🔹 Assisting with enclosure repairs and performing general repairs around the center.
🔹 Working with power tools and lawn equipment for various maintenance tasks.
