Soper Creek Wildlife is committed to bringing education to life! No matter what is going on in society, our children deserve the opportunity to explore the natural world around them. Soper Creek is excited to be able to offer a unique, outdoor education experience in which we can foster a love of nature while continuing to grow as learners in a small group setting with physical distancing as outlined by the Ministry of Health and other precautions in place

Our dedicated team of Wildlife Educators is excited to combine curriculum expectations from Kindergarten-Grade 6* with our passion for all things WILD. All educational material presented is grade-specific, curriculum-based programming which is based on the learner’s curiosity. By creating a program using an inquiry-based stance, we are able to make learning fun through the use of hands-on learning objects like pelts, skulls, bones and native plants and animals. Education is brought to life through the wonderful lessons our Animal Ambassadors can teach us.

Soper Creek Wildlife Rescue would like to acknowledge that the land on which we live, work, and play is on the traditional territory of the Anishinabek and Huron-Wendat Peoples. We respect the longstanding relationships that Indigenous Nations have to this land, as they are the original caretakers of the land. We are thankful to the First Peoples for sharing their land so we can care for the animals that call this territory their home.
