Growth and Change in Animals
There’s so much to discover as animals grow, change, and adapt throughout their lives! Grade 2 students explore how animals grow and develop, the different stages of their life cycles, and the unique ways animals change as they mature. Through engaging discussions, hands-on experiences, and Animal Ambassador encounters, students build their critical thinking, inquiry, communication, and problem-solving skills while discovering the amazing ways wildlife grows and changes.

Wacky Wildlife Wonders
Nature isn’t always what it seems! Wacky Wildlife Wonders takes students on a fun-filled journey into the weird, wild, and wonderfully unexpected side of Ontario wildlife.
From rabbits with blue pee to birds that can mimic cell phone ringtones, students will uncover some of the strangest adaptations, surprising behaviours, and unbelievable-but-true facts found right here in Ontario.

Discover what Soper Creek Wildlife is all about! Welcome to the WILD gives students an inside look at who we are, the animals we care for, and the important work happening behind the scenes.
Students will explore topics like wildlife rescue, animal care, conservation, education, and what it takes to give wildlife a second chance. It’s the perfect introduction to Soper Creek Wildlife for classes looking to learn a little bit about everything!
Busy Builders
No blueprints, no power tools—just amazing animal engineering! In Nature’s WILD Architects, students discover how some of Ontario’s most talented builders create incredible structures in the natural world.
From beavers building dams and birds crafting nests to insects creating complex homes, students will explore how animals choose materials, solve problems, and build spaces that help them survive.
WILD Through the Seasons
What do Ontario’s wild animals do when the seasons change? Wild Through the Seasons takes students on a year-round adventure to discover how wildlife survives and thrives through winter, spring, summer, and fall.
Through fun stories, games, and interactive activities, students will explore how animals find food, stay safe, raise their young, prepare for changing weather, and adapt to the world around them.

WILD Mythbusters
Fact or fiction? Truth or tall tale? It’s time to uncover the real stories behind Ontario’s wildlife!
In WILD Mythbusters, students will put their wildlife knowledge to the test as we investigate some of the most common myths, misconceptions, and surprising truths about the animals living in our forests, fields, wetlands, and neighbourhoods.
WILD Helpers: Pollinators & Seed Spreaders
Did you know animals help plant the future? In WILD Helpers, students discover the amazing ways wildlife helps flowers bloom, plants grow, and new life spread!
From buzzing bees and fluttering butterflies to busy birds and seed-stashing squirrels, students will explore how animals move pollen and carry, drop, bury, and even eat seeds—helping plants find new places to grow.
